Venice casino bidding process for its acquisition has been closed with no offering submitted bid, but this does not sound like bad news for potential investors and might open new interesting gaming law scenarios. 

The Observatory on Online Gaming of the University of Milan ran an event of presentation of a report on the status of the Italian online gaming market in 2013 which disclosed interesting information with casino games in Italy likely to reverse the current decline of the sector.
